The Blue Ridge Parkway. Well known as one of the most scenic drives in the country. As we stop at a breathtaking overlook, quiet descends upon us. After a few moments of long, deep breaths and moments of meditation, I say to my most beloved husband, "Isn't this beautiful?' My most beloved replies, "You know, all these trees have to be cut over the side down there so you can see out. And somebody's got to do it. I wouldn't want to be the person going over on a rope to cut 'em."
I love it.
