Yesterday we took off in the RV at exactly 2:00, as scheduled! We left late so that we could stop in Savannah to spend some time with Norma and Tom, which we did. What a nice time. And it ended with a Chocolate Cake laced with Grey Goose Vodka and Kahlua!!!!! Go, Norma! (Hic-up) I, of course wouldn't have used Grey Goose for cake, but would have substituted with the cheap stuff (as all of my kids would tell you) and saved the Grey Goose for later!
This morning we got off bright and early to head towards Asheville, NC. EXCITING! I even got to drive for about 3 1/2 hours today.
The mountains in spring time. I can't wait.
Oh yeah...and we're still speaking to each other! :)

The cake sounds wonderful. How many pieces did you eat??
ReplyDeleteWhat do you mean how many pieces? She took 1/2 of the cake with her. =) We miss you guys already. Sorry Susan, I forgot your foot rub. Oh well, guess you'll have to come back thru.
ReplyDeleteWe can't wait to see you! The scenery in the mountains is beautiful this time of year - but be careful when you come towards us - the POT HOLES make the news!!
ReplyDeleteBring some of that cake here! ps - I can't believe you would even deign to eat cake with such fancy vodka... why wouldn't you save it for a "special occasion"? Huh?
